ABOUT

Prenatal Massage is similar to Swedish Massage but with some changes to make it safe and appropriate during pregnancy.

A trained Prenatal Massage therapist avoids acupressure points on the body that might cause preterm labor, and checks the client for blood clots in the legs before massaging and uses safe techniques to avoid dislodging them.

Pillows and bolsters are used to position the pregnant client in a safe way, either propped up in a semi-reclining position or lying on one side.

Prenatal Massage uniquely supports the pregnant client during the physical and emotional changes and stressors of pregnancy.
